The animal shelter is located on Route 5-S, 1.5 miles east of Route 30. The Physical address is 1007 Route 5-S, Amsterdam, NY.
From the NYS Thruway, Exit 27 for Amsterdam:
After the toll booth take a right onto Route 30-N. Take the next right, a ramp to Route 5-S. Take a right going east onto Route 5-S. 1.5 miles on the right hand side is the animal shelter.
Coming from the north:
Take Route 30-S through the city of Amsterdam to Route 5-S. Take a right going east. 1.5 miles on the right hand side is the animal shelter.
