    Volunteering at Montgomery County SPCA

Much of what we do at the Montgomery County SPCA to save animal lives and give them a second chance depends on the help of volunteers. Volunteering is fun and rewarding, and it is also a great way to help the homeless animals. Just a few hours every week can make a big difference.

You can find out more about volunteer opportunities by completing a volunteer application and attending a volunteer orientation. You must be at least 18 years of age to attend the orientation and become a volunteer. Once your application is received by us, you will be contacted by the volunteer coordinator who will schedule you for the next orientation.

For more information or to submit and application, please contact:

    Joyce Rose, Volunteer Coordinator

    Montgomery County SPCA
    PO Box 484
    Amsterdam NY 12010
    Phone #: 518-842-8050 (please leave a message)
    goldogs@hughes.net

Or stop by the shelter and fill out an application there!

Thank you for your interest in the volunteer program. The staff appreciates your help. More importantly, the animals benefit from all the hard work performed by our fantastic volunteers.
